Roberta's Story
I was the kid always being chased on the playground! I had Mrs. LaBresh first grade, Mrs. Bruce second grade, Miss Lambert(sp?) third grade, Mrs. Upton fourth grade, Mrs. Swanson fifth grade, and moved to East Whittier at the tail end of fifth grade. Girls H.S. in Orange for the last quarter of freshman year and all of sophomore year. I then returned to public school and graduated from La Habra H.S. in 1974. I now live in Arizona after retiring in 2001 in Northern California as a business owner. I now renovate, flip and rent properties in the Phoenix area and spend most days on the golf course. I have so many wonderful memories of my classmates and teachers from Washington Elementary.
