Roberta's Story
Wow. Where to start? After high school, I went to UMass Amherst where I got my BS degree in psychology with a minor in mathematics. I then worked for NASA as a technical writer on the APOLLO Project at MIT in Cambridge. From there I went to Hartford, Connecticut, where I became a computer programmer. I worked for a few years as a programmer/analyst in Hartford and Boston, and then met my husband, Ron, while we were both vacationing in Nova Scotia.
Ron is an attorney in New York City so I ended up in the New York C...Expand for more
ity area and worked as a programmer/analyst on Wall Street. We now live in Glen Rock, New Jersey, and, since Ron says he is never retiring, I expect to be here for quite a while. We have two daughters, Jennifer, who is an accountant and attorney, and Hillary, who earned her Ph.D. in mathematics and is teaching mathematics at the University of Cincinnati.
I have many fond memories of Lowell and get back as often as I can. We get to Maine a few times a year too. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
