Roberta's Story
After reviewing my yearbook entries, I guess most of you will remember me as the "old lady" since most were to. . MOM, Grannie and the like. I have fewer answers and more questions then I had then. I went to college for awhile until I got an offer I couldn't refuse so I married him. BIG ,mistake. Went to work for Contra Cost County and did many jobs with-in the system. Fell madly in love with a younger man. .Divorced my cheating husband and married the love of my life. (another mistake) When our child was 6 months my great love took off with a sweet young thing. I worked two, sometimes three jobs to keep our head above the water line. The child grew up and makes me proud every day. Second husband re-enters my life off and on...Expand for more
for 40 yrs. We final;y give up fighting what was meant to be and have re-married. Got a good retirement after 42 yrs with the County. I am as happy as .any one with chemical depression can be, have a dog and cat (both black), good friends and a still functioning mind. I am greatful and usually at peace.I don't owe anyone except for the loan broker for my home. Life has been good when I take the time to chart it.
I have one drama WHAT HAPPENED TO REX FOWLER? HE PLAYED THE DRUMS, He was my count on dance partner. He went to school with us but his name is no where, not even as attending the school. What is going on here? His senior picture remains. What happened to him and why is he off the radar? ANY ONE KNOWS ????
