Life
I'm finishing up my miitary career -- official retirement date is 1 Dec 06. Met my goal to become a first sergeant, and retiring with the diamond! It's been a good life, but time for me to move on to my next career.
Soon to be employed at a high school in Massachusetts, as an AFJROTC instructor. With my experience in administration, as an MTI, and as a first sergeant, I hope I can influence the futures of tomorrow's leaders.
New Entry: Today is Dec 27, 2008, I'm still an AFJROTC Instructor, but now we are living in South Carolina. New England school had a hard time keeping the number of kids in the program hence closed the unit, so I found a new position further...Expand for more
south... Being away from family isn't so new, but still difficult during the holiday season, but we are doing well considering. It's definitely warmer here and no snow this Christmas, but we have the spirit & faith. Hopefully this is our LAST move (but we've said that before) or a least while the boys are still in school. Travis starts high school in the fall of 09... hard to believe. Guess they can't stay babies forever. Thanks to all my friends and family that have supported us mentally and physically over the years. And to the friends that have re-connected through websites like this - thanks for reaching out.
