Robin (aka Roberta)'s Story
After graduation from DHS, I attended the University of Toledo for a year and then married. We had four children, 3 boys and one girl.. Following divorce in the '80's, I returned to college to obtain a degree and become a licensed Social Worker, while still having two children at home. Most of my career has been spent working in adoption. I am currently semi-retired, doing contract work for a local private Christian adoption agency. grandchildren wo will be two years old this year. I am fortunate that all live locally. I also enjoy needlework, gardening, theater, travel,spending time with friends, swimming, and eating out, Most of ny life has been in Toledo with the exception of 2 years in Temperance, Michigan (well, it is another state even if it is just a few miles away!!) and 4 years in St. Augustine, Florida, caring for my mother. My dream is to return to St. Augustine, however, spending time with grandchildren is my priority, so it is likely to remain a dream and I remain content with occasional visits.
