Robin's Story

WE ARE GRANDPARENTS!! WOW - grandkids ARE more fun than your own! LOL Our grandson was born on 3/2/09. He's wonderful and healthy and handsome and .... all the things that you would hope any grandchild to be. AMAZING! Wow! I've had a full life! Alot has happened. After grad, I went to a tech school where I got my secretarial diploma. While there, I met an old high school chum and we started hanging out. Been together ever since. Allen and I were married in Dec of 1986. When we first got married I worked at Boeing, but when I got pregnant with baby #2, I quit to stay home with my girls. 12 years later, with a total of 5 kids, I decided that I needed some grown-up time and went back to work. I've been working ever since. Different places and even different states but we are back in the beautiful Lake Stevens area. Or "L Town" as the new generation calls it. WOW - how it's grown! I can't believe how big -and FULL - it is! Lots and Lots of people! BUT - it's ok. Our greatest joy or accomplishment -our kids. I know that sounds so cliche' but it is so true. We have 4 girls and 1 boy. (No - he's not #5 - he's #4.) They range in age from 22 years to 15 years. Our oldest daughter is married now and doing wonderful. She works in the marketing dept of a local construction company. Our #2 daughter graduated last July as a Vet Asst from a tech school in Spokane. She has such a natural greatness with animals! She is also a very talented photographer and would like to pursue that coarse as well as her vet training. Our #3 daughter is living in Billings MT and doing great. She looking at going to Nursing school there. She has a boyfriend over there as well. Our son is attending LSHS. He's not the sportsy football kinda kid as his dad was, but he's great in his own way. He's very much into computers and such. He's currently writing a fantasy/adventure novel. Very...Expand for more
creative. Our baby girl will be a Freshman at Cavelero in Sept. She is a wonderful musician too. Although she currently is playing Flute - and absolutely great at it - she also wants to learn Sax, Piano, trumpet and .... She's also very scholarly. Loves school! (She's crazy, huh?) lol Those are our 5 kids. I guess it's not fair to call them all "kids" as they really aren't. They are some of the greatest people I've ever met. Each one incredibly wonderful! I couldn't be more proud of each of them. High school for me; I loved it and hated it. Loved the friendships and companionship. Some I still consider my friends and even talk to now and again. I loved the experiences I gained there. No, some experiences were not great. But - I learned something from each one. I wouldn't change it now. I wouldn't be who I am. I hated the clicks and prejudice, the book learning and the homework. To my way of thinking - at the time- there were far more important things to concentrate on. Boys, friends, boys, choir, boys, band, boys, friends, drill team, boys - LOL. Just kidding. I liked more guys in high school than I dated. But the guys I did date were great. Well, most of them anyway. Some were really great and a few weren't so great. Stupid high school kids - with lots of mistakes made. Favorite class? CHOIR! I miss choir so much! I miss expressing myself in that way on a daily basis and the everyday commaraderie. We had a lot of fun in choir. And yes, I do still sing when I have the opportunity. I still love it. I've sang at funerals and at weddings. At church stuff. But it's not quite the same thing. Would I change my life? There are a few regrets, but only a few, that I would be tempted to change. But in the end, I'm not sure I would change any of it. I'm a better person than before because of the things I've experienced. Do I love my life? ABSOLUTELY!

Ladies - if you've ever wondered about the Roden & Fields Lash Boost, let me share my personal results. I started in March. And I'll be the first to admit that there's been quite a few nights that I've forgotten to use it.
