Robin's Story
I felt pretty invisible in high school, even though I had great friends. I loved choir and even did well in Mrs. McClinton's history class. Mrs. Robertson was a great chemistry teacher and Mrs. Lovett a great English teacher. I took a class at J.S.U. in Amer. Lit. and she was still an amazing teacher. I still love to read. I have been in writing projects also and think that I will write a book someday when I settle down. In the meanwhile, I have written numerous poems. I'm still a nerd, aren't I? But I love people who are interesting and I hope that they find me interesting too. s a second language through Global Volunteers. I taught kindergarten children at a Missions conference last year in Rome. I am just me, but I am happy for the opportunities that I've had and look forward to the surprises of the future.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
I blow off steam by walking away from things that bother me until I can deal with them rationally. I firmly believe in communicating and realize that mine is not the only opinion that matters...
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have interesting things to do, people with a sense of humor, and challenges to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
