Robin's Story
Life
My wife and I have daughters and foster daughters total 5 or 6, depending on extended family, - another 2 foster grandchildren - write songs, sometime have got to do something with them. My wife and kids are Innu (cousins to the Cree) and speak Innuiemun. A lot of open space up here (spruce forest) - clear skies and air - sometimes unbelievable northern lights - going to the city is a big adventure (I never appreciated anything living in T. - here, I appreciate everything!)
School
Dinsmore kept drilling us on what a correct English sentence was. Sidorchuk gave me some good advice later when he was with the School Board. Happiest time - winning the '66 junior soccer championship (sic), and the '68 senior soccer championship. Wish I could do it over with what I know now - would stop and smell the roses and dance with every girl that would dance with me.Teacher: "Take off your boots?" Marv: "Nude pieds." Baker's sketch-Hannibal's soldiers with tons of peanuts.

UofT,BSc73;UBC,DipAdultEd75;St.F.X.,M.Ad.Ed.'84;Dal,MES'89. Liked the smallest university (St. F. X.)+ prof John Dobson best -Mugabe came to speak in '83 - the South African students were fighting over who would introduce him - he was a rock star then. UBC Adult Ed nestled into the presidents manse down on Point Grey while he was away for a year. Learned about being an adult educator from John Niemi, Jindra Kulich, Coolie Verner & co. Dal - small village architecture, big city rush.
