Robin's Story
I graduated in 1968 from Hope High School. My parents owned Governor Street Market in Fox Point. I went on to work at Coro Vondome then got a full time job with the State of RI. I first married Don Hunt had one son and then we divorced. I then Married Eddie Peckham and had one daughter. Unfortunately both men were not good for me and I had to leave RI and move to KY to raise my children. My son Donnie went into the Navel Academy and my daughter Candy went to hairdressing school. He lived in Sydney Australia came to the US we met and got married. He raised both my children and both took his name. This year all was well until April 7, 2011 I got a phone call my son was dead. That feeling I hope no one ever has to go through it. I am not over it nor will I think I ever will be. Right now I am taking one day at a time. I also have one grandaughter, she is 2 years old and is the apple of my eye. Eliona, ellie for short and Donnie called her L'Belle.....I don't know what i would do with out her.
