Robin's Story
Life is never dull in our household!
Our daughter, Hailey, just turned 20 and is a college student. She lives at home and commutes to school. She is working on her degree in veterinary technology and should finish that program in another year. At that point she will take the state board exams so she can practice medicine and then go back to school to finish her degree in zoology. Her plans are to work in a zoo environment with "the big cats".
My son, Connor, is 15 and is a sophomore in high school. He is quite the athlete and plays baseball for Mill Creek High School. He started playing baseball at the age of 4. At 10 years old he started playing ball on a travel team. At 13 he and his team competed in a Wo...Expand for more
rld Series and he is a USSSA World Series Champion. I live among greatness! Well, at least I get to dust some pretty impressive medals and trophies. He got his learner's permit this year...God help me...and he's learning to drive. Like most boys his age he spends an enormous amount of time online looking for the perfect car that he's somehow convinced himself we're going to buy for him.
I work out of my home as a medical transcriptionist. I went to school to get my certification when the kids were little so I could work and still be at home with them. I guess after all these years it has just become a way of life for me. Fortunately, I really do love my work and I love the fact that I get to do it from home.
