Robin's Story
this is my story.....,
Im proud of country living,
it's where I want to be.
The beauty of the clear blue sky,
the land that sets me free.
The sweetness of that country air,
brings magic to my soul.
The children having fun just playing,
at the old swimming hole.
The girls & I make homemade pies
making the house smell good,
while my hubby & son keep busy,
cutting logs for firewood.
Up at sunrise planting crops,feeding the critters,
gathering eggs, we never get bitter.
Mowing the lawn and putting up hay,

he sun goes down, we call it a day.
Just sitting on a bench,
in the clear moonlight,
looking up at the stars,
before we say goodnight.
On a tree beside our house,
my hubby carved a heart to remind us of the love we have,
and will never grow apart.
the kids are leaving and getting
out on their own,
but they know that this little farmhouse will always be home.
So give me country living,
and down home country songs,
the land that God created,
that stands so proud and strong.
