Robin's Story
After graduation, I attended Wheeling Jesuit and earned my bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. A few years later I went back and earned an MBA. I've been a nuclear medicine technologist for 14 plus years now and love it!
I met Chris in 1991 and we've been together ever since. He was friends from high school with a girl I was friends with at college. He was attending Bethany and bouncing at Mac's in Wheeling (Anyone remember that place?) when we met. It's funny cuz he was trying to get our mutual friend to match us up, but she wanted him to date her roommate, telling him we weren't each other's type! lol. We married in 1999! We have two fur-kids, Gabby and Gia. They are two miniature dachshunds and are the love of our life. They truly are spoiled rotten! We're looking into getting one or two more right now to add to the collection.
We don't have any human kids - yet. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and have to continue treatment until 2010. I can't get pregnant until the treatment is finished. But then I plan on being a baby-makin' machine! We'd like 3 or 4, God willing. Chris is currently going back to school studying radiologic technology (he wants to be a CT or MRI tech) and he'll graduate in June 2010 so the timing couldn't be better.
