Robin's Story
I'm not who I thought I'd be, and I bet you aren't either. Let's see -- I've turned out to be married to a wonderful man, the mother of a scary smart teen girl, and the foster mother of three smart, beautiful, and strong women. I ended up completing a BBA and a MAcc, once I figured out that I wouldn't make a good doctor but I make one hell of an accountant. m to be developing a white stripe down one side.
Of course, there are lots of other things that I am. I am still very shy, but I've learned to cover it with something more socially acceptable than aloofness. I've found that stubbornly being myself has resulted in more happiness than I would ever have thought possible in high school. I'm still an outlier and I like it that way. <G>
