Robin's Story
Life
I was married in 1976 and divorced since 1986 after getting married to Larry Schwartz from Cleveland, OH. I was married for 7 years, with no children.
I am currently married since October 2006 where we also met on a blind date.
I'm living in Agoura Hills under the last name of Freed (previous married name was Schwartz). Worked in the Entertainment Industry for The William Morris Agency for 11-15 years as an Executive Assistant in the TV Dept. and left there 2/04. Currently working part time remotely from home since 2011 as a Researcher/Search Consultant for an Executive Recruiter.

School
The teacher that inspired me most was Mrs. Gold, the dance teacher from 1967-70. She was fabulous and what a personality! I'll remember her and love her always.
My craziest memory was of the Pendulum that was installed inside the Admin. Bldg. in a deep well like area which was supposed to tell time by which direction it swung....and it didn't last and what a waste of money! Also going to see the band THE PEANUT BUTTER CONSPIRACY which was very popular back then with their hit song(s)....
Also walking down Fairfax Ave. towards Beverly Blvd. and all the "head" shops that were around with the psychedelic drug paraphenalia and buttons you wore on your shirts protesting the Vietnam War. I think it was called THE INFINITE MIND. Also THE FREE PRESS! Remember that!
College
I ...Expand for more
commuted from Los Angeles (West Hollywood) to Valley Jr. College in North Hollywood and then C.S.U.N. several times a week to go to school. I commuted with 2 other friends from Fairfax High. Didn't spend too much time there other than attending classes. Got my AA degree in Psychology. I met my ex-husband, Larry, when I was 21.
Workplace
I worked part time at THE PREVIEW HOUSE (ASI) on Sunset and Gardner for 5 years while I was in high school and attending college, and summers in between. One of my most fun jobs because of all the "crazies" (in a nice way) I met there while I worked the phones getting people there to see unreleased pilots before they went on the air. I met tons of people in "the phone room", plus friends/acquaintances from high school I already knew were working there.
Beverly Tabachnick is now one of the owners of ASI who also worked in the phone room at the same time as I did. I recently saw her and loved running into her.
Didn't find a job I really liked until 1980 while I worked for a man who owned a small Advertising, Promotion and PR firm, M. Craig & Associates/Mort Craig Advertising. Mort Craig was a wonderful man! I worked there till 1987 as an Advertising/Marketing Assistant.
I joined The William Morris Agency officially in 1993 and worked there till 2004 as an Executive Assistant to a TV Talent Packaging Agent. I left because Mr. Leon passed away in 2003.
