Geez, my previous bio rambled on. What am I, too much information girl? Apparently. But not as of this update (2/08). Here's the nuts and bolts, email me if you care to know more. Currently, I'm finishing up my MFA in Writiing at California Institute of the Arts in the Los Angeles area. And finally going home to Texas in June to my husband Phil and house and cats for a year before we all move on somewhere so I can start the PhD gauntlet. Dunno where yet, but 99% sure will be a cooler, less humid climate, and less Austin in general -- it's terrific living there but I'm a big-city girl at heart. Hopefully we come back to Cali, actually. I really love it here. Phil has been holdinig down the fort at home so I can have this grad school adventure, he's quite the unique and wonderful individual. We just had our 17th anniversary (4 of it married). He's a musician, still toughing it out in the indie rock world I abandoned myself long ago, although I have been doing some singing again out here of late.
