Robin's Story
A lot has happened since High School. I went to De Anza Jr College for a couple of years trying to find myself. As much as I wanted to go away to college, San Jose State turned out to be my best choice for music so I commuted to work and school for another 4 years. I dated Phil Olds for most of that time, thinking we would get married some day and the fun would never end. After he lost his teaching job he changed so much. An incredible talent that got lost in alcohol. I still miss him.
I moved to Texas after that and got married to man I met singing with the San Antonio Symphony. That didn't last either and ended really badly. Tenors, huh? Anyway, I got two wonderful daughters out of it. They both sing too and are talented in many ways. They join me whenever they can on stage as I perform locally and at church. I feel so blessed.

ened there - although distance played a big part, and he decided he wanted someone else. I hope he's happy.
It's turned out to be a good thing - because I've got someone now who is everything I could want in a guy and more. He is great with my kids and they love him too. If he can stand my family (lol), I think you'll be hearing wedding bells early next year.
Peace
Update 11/13
So, the man mentioned in the last paragraph did indeed propose and now we've been married for almost 5 years. Don is everything I have always wanted in a husband and more. I am incredibly lucky.
I don't have a day job anymore, but do have an in home bakery. I had to take a break from baking all the time. My waistline couldn't handle it. But I still fill orders as they come in - bread, cakes and gluten free products are the best sellers.
My oldest daughter Carmen is married and living in Georgia. She is pharmacy assistant. Renata is 19 and still lives at home. Not sure what she wants to do with her life, but loves her job at Longhorn Steakhouse.
