Robin's Story
I live in Mount Sinai, NY, about 30 miles east of Huntington. I married my college sweetheart, Jim and we have been married since 1968. We have three children: two sons, Gerald and Andrew, and a daughter, Michelle. They are all married. We have 2 granddaughters, Orli and Lily.
I taught elementary school for a few years, then stopped to have my children. During the time I was home, I taught private piano lessons and got my first master's degree in Reading Specialization. go full-time for my MSW degree (Masters in Social Work), which I completed in May 2008. I am now a state licensed social worker mental health counselor working with dually diagnosed mentally ill and chemically addicted clients at a PROS program on the grounds of the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center.
Jim and I have been taking weekly ballroom dancing lessons for many years. We love to dance and find it very relaxing and fun. We also love to travel the world. We have been almost everywhere-- from Asia to Australia, the Tahitian Islands to Iceland, Russia to Chile.
