Robin's Story
I'm happily married, living in Greenwich, CT, and a mother of 3 children.
I am currently co-chairman of the Greenwich Library Oral HIstory Project, which includes digitizing a vast collection of interview transcripts that go back to the mid-1970s and maintaining the website.
I am a 2nd alto with the Grace Notes, a women's a cappella group, and hold the dubious title of Resources Manager (web mistress, music transcriber, archivist, and many other hats). We bring the joy of music to the community, performing at nursing homes, hospitals, civic groups, and schools.
I also keep busy as a computer graphics freelancer, mostly doing concert or theater programs, newsletters, flye...Expand for more
rs, etc.
Over the past 20 years, I have been involved with several community groups. With the Girl Scouts, I had been a troop leader of 2 troops, as well as a trainer, registrar, and service unit manager, and am now planning to be a Gold Award mentor. With the Boy Scouts I was a a den leader and an assistant scoutmaster. At the public schools I was a newsletter editor for 12 years, in addition to many other responsibilities. With the Folk Project, I was a festival chair for several years.
I know this sounds like a resume, but I guess I've been pretty busy. Now that the kids have moved on to their own adventures, it's time for me to start traveling and having a little fun.
