Robin's Story
After graduation from Summerville High School, I went to college before getting married in 1981, we moved to San Diego, California for several months, then returned to Summerville, SC. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in 1982. In 1984, we moved to Mesa, Arizona. In 1986, I gave birth to another beautiful baby girl. he south and have settled in Mount Holly, NC (northwest of Charlotte). My younger daughter came with me to NC; however, she ultimately returned to Arizona -- which is home to her. My older daughter moved to NC after that. I have two wonderful grandsons (one for each daughter). After living for 20 years in Arizona, the culture shock of returning to the south was tough to swallow. Even after being back for almost 15 years, I still find it tough sometimes.
