Robin's Story
After high school I volunteered for the draft in 1961 and served in the 5th Army remaining until 1963. Pam Thatcher, a 1962 F.H.S. graduate, and I were married in 1964. I graduated from Easter Michigan in 1968 with a B.B.A. and Wayne State with a Masters in 1970. We have 4 children and 13 grandchildren. All our childrden live near us in Milford, Michigan. I have been in the heating and cooling business, Robin Aire Heating & Cooling, Inc., for 37 years and presently work part time out of Wixom, Michigan. I will probably retire next year as my son has been running most of the business for 5 years. I have many hobbies, fishing, hunting, and raising animals. r favorite thing to do. Our health is OK and we continue to be very active in Grace Church in White Lake, Michigan. I have led a Bible Fellowship in my home for the last 20 years. Our purpose is to help people understand and experience the most important truth in the world, which is God's free exceptance and forgivness of sinful people through faith in what Jesus Christ did on the cross.
I have since retired, in 2013, and still enjoy good health and retirement now in 2015. Pam and I have now been married 50 years, and still love and care for each other. The other main benefit is that our 13 grandchildren all continue to live near us and we see most of them every week. That is our real joy as we come to the twilight years of our lives.
