Robin's Story

I had been in a relationship for 18 years to a wonderful man. I have always heard that after 7 years, we were considered, by common law, husband and wife. Just recently, I lost him. I consider myself a widow. By life partner passed away from a heart attack. He was 70. I am a Special Ed Schoolbus driver, with Durham School Services. I have been employed with them for 16 years. I enjoy my work very much. Why? It is the kids that keep me going...Expand for more
. I really haven't changed except for the grey hair. I am still and will always be a very caring and understanding person. I enjoy meeting people and making new friends. I hope to reconnect with old class mates. I do keep in touch with Joan, whom I have been friends with since the third grade. WOW!!! Can you believe almost 40 years???? I have no children, I guess this is why I drive the special needs children. I was never blessed with them.
