Roblyn's Story
I am the only daughter with five brothers born to Ms.Alice B. and the late Rev.Robert Jackson Sr.
My parents divorced when I was five years old. We moved to Perry Homes, living on Westmoreland, Drew Drive and Kerry Drive.
Reminiscing about the Good ole days as a child:
As a little girl I was naturally a tomboy, I have five brothers and no sisters... go figure.
I liked the fact that I would be in the 1st pick on any of the teams for some front yard football and I don't mean flag football.
I loved riding my bike with childhood friend Glinda Lowe who would ride on my handlebars up and down the hills from where my other childhood friend Leshia Cook lived and down the hill in front of our apartment on Drew Dr.
I went to Gate City Nursery and love Ms.Robinson the director and Mr. Jenkins the bus dirver, he loved me too because I would march up and down the bus yelling at the other children to be quite " Mr. Jenkins trying to drive" he would just laugh and shake his head at me when I got off at my stop.
So many fun memories....
After graduating from S. H. Archer 1979, I attend Fort Valley State College for not quite two years. I went to Atlanta Area Tech and compeleted their Cosmetology program in 1984 and practiced as a stylist ...Expand for more
