Faye's Story
Life
I got married right after graduating in 1976, had 3 children. My son is now 31, and has 2 kids of his own. He just got remarried in Nov. to a great gal...and now has a step-daughter too. So I have 1 grandson 11, and 1 grand-daughter 4 and a step-granddaughter 8. I have 2 daughters, my oldest daughter is 19 and my other daughter is 16. It feels really strange this year cause both of my daughters are going to Muskogee High (the same school I went to, walking the same halls I used to walk!) My oldest daughter was in the Marching Band.(Marching at the same stadiums I use to!) The weird part is that I feel like it should still be me there, going to classes, and marching out on the field, etc. etc. So last year the opportunity to be in the Alumni Band came up and I jumped on the opportunity! It was so-o-o-o great to be out on that field again!! It brought back so-o-o-o many memories!! Just to hear Mr. Huffer yell again was worth it all!!! LOL..I did it again this year and plan to do it every year! So long as I can! I want to encourage anyone who was in the Band to join the Alumni Band!! I know it has been a long time since you probably played...b...Expand for more
ut it doesn't matter! And they have a few practices a few weeks before the game we play in. There is a web site you can go to..I'm not sure exactly what it is yet.. But I think if you search MuskogeeAlumniBand in the search engine it might bring it up. I'll post it on here when I know for sure what it is. I really don't know where all the time has gone!! (And so fast!!) So to continue... I got a divorce in 2000 after being married for 23 years. And now I just got married again on 8-8-08. My husband is originally from Guam. And served in the Marine Corp. for 20 years. (We have been together for a little over 7 years) I still live in Muskogee, and I work at Georgia Pacific (a.k.a. Fort Howard, a.k.a. Fort James) I have been there for 15 years. Before that I worked at Sola Lens Plant (a.k.a. Coburn Lens Plant) and I was there for 15 years until the plant closed. You can find me in the phone book, if you would like to get in touch. I also have a Myspace you can go to... I do have it set on private but you can ask to be one of my friends... go to Myspace and then /faye2300 . I hope to hear from my fellow Roughers!!! Faye Robuck Parris LeonGuerrero
