Robyn's Story
Life
After attending Sierra College, I transferred to the University of Arizona and received a BA in Communications. I intended to finish my graduate degree in Library Science but was side-tracked with work and family. During High School and College I worked in various libraries and found the work rewarding.
I was hired in 1991 for the University of AZ Library. I've been fortunate to have wonderful mentors and the opportunity to work my way up. I am now a Department Head for one of the units in the library. I love the University environment. etween the cost of living in CA (mainly housing) and the counter offer from UA we figured it was best to stay in AZ for now.
I was married here in Tucson in 1993. My husband also workds for the university as a Computer Systems Analyst. We have two children. A boy who is 10 and a girl who just turned 8. Can't imagine life without the kids. (ok, at times we can imagine it but we wouldn't have it any other way)
I was in the hospital during the 10yr reunion and have a work obligation the same weekend of the 20yr reunion. I am still trying to see if I can make a change and attend. If not, I wish everyone the best!
