Robyn's Story
Life
After attending the U of Southern Mississippi and the U of Tennessee,I moved to El Dorado, Kansas because of my job in 1979. I then became a dispatcher with the local sheriff's department. I met Randy who was Captain of the rescue squad. We got married in the gardens of the KaPoc Tree restaurant in Fort Lauderdale in September 1982, though we lived in Kansas until 1989. We have 3 daughters, Randi Jean 9/85, RaDonna 4/87, Rachel 5/90.We moved back to Florida in 1989 and lived in Gainesville and Fort Lauderdale. Randy worked as an ER nurse. We moved back to Kansas 11/98 for Randy to be the director of the Emergency Room of the hosp. he was born in. I have been a stay at home mom since shortly after our second daughter was born. Feb 06 we moved back to Florida to be near my mother who lives near Ocala. My husband is the director of two hospital emergency departments in Ormond Beach, FL. I still stay home, my hobbies are sewing, scrapping, geneology, computer. My oldest two daughters are in the medical field. Randi Jean is an EMT for Volusia County, to become a nurse or paramedic in the near future. Middle daughter RaDonna starts nursing school this fall. Rachel is still in high school.
Feb 08 We still live in Florida. My husband has been in the army reserve for 20 years. He is being deployed to Iraq very soon and will be gone for at least a year. Keep us in your prayers. Randi Jean starts paramedic school in May. RaDonna is in 2nd semester of nursing school. Rachel is a HS senior.
