Robyn's Story

In 1995 I moved to Louisville, KY with my husband and 3 kids (2 boys and a girl). I've been married for 27 yrs (Nov '10). I am currently working as a Sr Cert Pharm Tech at Walgreens. Not my dream job, but it is paying off my student loan from Sullivan Universtiy. Got a culinary degree from Sullivan in 2007. Cooking is where my passion is, but the economy doesn't seem to support my views so am having to wait until things pick up before I can do anything with it. I do find time to do some catering on the side though. M husband, Ken is a Sr Design Tech for a fire protection company here in Louisville (which is why we left Cincinnati). He does some traveling with his job, but not as much as he use to. I have been fortunate to be able to go on some of his business trips with him. My oldest son, Ross, has a beautiful wife (Chasity) and a daughter (Cheyanne). Yes, I am a grandma and I love it! erring to Boyce College (specializes in music education) in the fall. Just as well, I hate the Cardinals! He is just finishing up a mission trip to South Africa (last year he was in Alaska for 2 1/2 mos)! My daughter, Alyssa will be a senior at Eastern High School. She is a Cheerleader! (she was also Jr Prom Queen this past year) She works at Curves part time as a sort of Fitness Instructor; and she just finished up her contract as a rep for a photography studio. We are so proud of all of them! I do so love Antiquing! Have a house full of useless junk that is only special to me! Lost my Mother in 2001. My Dad is still living and remarried a lifelong friend of ours almost 3 years ago. Love her to death, but still hard to see them together. Still expect to see them with their own spouses. My brother, John lives in Columbus; and my sister, Tracey lives in Sharonville. That's about it. If you want more, all you need to do is ask. My life is pretty much an open book! Robyn
