Rocky's Story
After graduating from Rhea County the grocery business called me. I attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and got my business degree from the University of Red Food. I retired from the grocery industry several years ago and started my own Third Party Logistics company specializing in servicing the same industry doing everything from IT and Transportation to Merger and Acquisitions. I am still in the Merger and Acquisition mode and have moved that into other areas of business. Not yet ready to retire again.
I am married to my wonderful and beautiful wife Dagmar (German...Expand for more
). We split our time between Chattanooga TN, Tampa, FL and Morristown, TN, I have one daughter and two grandsons that are soccer and baseball playing rascals. I raise champion German Shorthaired Pointers (bird dogs), love racquetball and Dagmar and I do all the traveling we can. What little time we have left over I enjoy watching and attending games and pulling for our Tennessee Vols.
It is hard to believe I have squeezed all of this into 40 years since graduating from Rhea County. I wonder what the next 40 will bring????????
