Rodney's Story

Life Hi everyone, I hope this finds you all doing well. I am doing just fine, enjoying life and looking forward to seeing all of you at the next reunion (Oops had to miss the 30th, the last two weeks in July will always be bad for me!). I hope there will be a 35th and hopefully it will not be planned during the last two weeks in July. Did I repeat, I’m sorry I just don’t want to miss the next one. I have visited the reunion pictures on the other web site and I am almost glad I did not get to go. I would have been so embarrassed trying to remember people. I still think this could be a great forum however, it is just not in my budget and life is still busy, for now anyway. Please feel welcome to e-mail me should you stumble across this as I would love to hear from the kids I grew up with. I’ve also changed a lot; I think it’s called getting older and wiser. Of course, raising three children and dealing with an ex-wife will do that for a person. You will find me at g u p t o n r o d at ya hoo dot com just push it together and replace the obvious. I had to change it a little because they caught on. Also I'm not a member so send me an email otherwise I'll never get the message. Take care all, Rod. School I cannot tell if you are supposed to answer the questions above or just shoot the breeze. I bet no one reads this stuff anyway so here goes. eally ugly back then, oh wait I still am. My wife is cute though and claims to have perfect eye site so go figure. Perhaps everyone thought I was just plain mean, as I think about it maybe I was. All I know is that I had numerous crushes but the girls always had other plans. I am sure many other guys that felt the same way. It was after moving from Miami that things began to turnaround for me. I moved to Orlando and started College; I was like a kid in a candy store. I didn’t have to worry about a tough guy image any more partially due to the fact no one was standing in the hallway looking for a fight. What a concept! Suddenly girls were cool, not so condescending like back in Miami, but then I have to take the blame for that one. Oops, this is supposed to be about High school. It seems like I was always in trouble for something back then. Maybe it was because I liked to play pranks and fool around with fireworks at school. Some of you know what I mean and if you don’t, you’ll have to ask me about it sometime. I guess I had my best times in Marine Engine Mechanics. Mr. Markey was the best. I had some good times in electronics class with Mr. Hunt. He was a great man and tought me allot; I still cannot believe they put up with so much of my grief. I guess that is why they became teachers. Ok I had better stop killing time now. Remember don’t make fun of me for this gibberish. Take care, Rod.
