Rodney's Story
Life gets more interesting as you get older. I still think like I'm 20 but my body says otherwise. I've been married since 1982 and have two sons; both married and five grand children. I live in Brandon, MS and feel there's nowhere I'd rather spend my time. For hobbies I like to hunt and fish but mostly I fix things and work in the yard. I recently build my own house and restored a damaged house to resale.
In our neighborhood the main form of transportation is a 4-wheeler or a tractor. When we moved out I wasn't sure my wife would like living so far from the shops...Expand for more
and resturants (about 5 miles from the closest gas station). I was even more uncertain about how she would take to the racoons getting into the garbage or deer coming into the yard. But, she really seems to like it. For a living I work for the Community College Board and spend a good amount of time on the highway between the colleges. It's a great job where I get to meet some of the best people in the state.
Time sure does fly by, our next reunion in 2010 will be 40 years. I'm hoping to see some of my old friends, have a few laughs, and listen to a good band.
