Life
Latest News: I retired on Dec 2, 2001 from bellSouth with 32 yrs and 8 months service. Retirement is great. I now live in Cropwell, Al on Logan Martin Lake. I spend my spare time boating and restoring old corvettes. Most of my time now is spent taking care of my wife. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in Feb 09.
After high school I attend Univ of Al til Jan 69. Transfered to UAB and started working for South Central Bell. June of 69, I was volunteered by my draft board to join the Army. Spent 2 yrs in the Army. After my initial military training I was sent to ...Expand for more
Anchorage, Ak til June of 71. Returned home and started back working for SCB again and attending school at night. Graduated from Univ of Montevallo in 78.
I have a son, Rodney Jr. He was born in 69 and he lives in Clay.
I took flying lessions and received my single engine and multi-engine private pilots license with an instrument rating in early 1980's. I used to own a Piper Archer and a Piper Seneca.
In 95 I had a heart attack. I had 3 bypasses done in June 95. Have been in great health since.
That about covers all that has happened since the Banks High days.
