Gloria's Story

I married an Army guy in 1971 and moved to Northern Virginia. By 1974 I had 2 kids, Jennifer (now 36) and John (now 34). In 1980 we moved to Coral Springs, Florida. Got divorced and in 1983 remarried Larry Claffey and gained 2 Step-kids,Coleen and Jason. In 2000 my son John made us Grandparents to Madison Taylor (now 8). In...Expand for more
2001 moved to Charlotte, NC. In 2004, Jenn made us Grandparents again to twins Riley Nicole and Zander Miles (now 4). I worked until 2002 when I retired to become a full-time Grandma or Mimi as I'm called. Larry is a couple of years from retirement. When he does retire we plan on moving to our mountain home in Lake Lure, NC.
