Roel's Story
I'm from the first batch of the bilingual sections, Batch 80'. There were actually 10 experimental sections namely; AT, BT, CT, DT, ET, AM, BM, CM, DM and EM. Those under T were students whose main dialect used at home was Tagalog and those on M had mixed dialects spoken. AT boys shared Practical Arts teacher and room with fellow BT boys while the AT girls combined with BT girls during Home Economics. So as with the other bilingual sections sharing teachers and rooms with their counterpart sections. This was implemented due to scarcity of teachers and rooms. I used to be a member also of the Junior Rondalla under Mrs. Nora Avanzado. Joined the Special Unit scouting group of Mr. Sales. was one of them trying to evade the scissors of the barber under the left stairway. Speaking of Nolito Bravo. We were exchanging e-mails 7 years ago. He is now a big-time performer-entertainer in elite clubs around a city in Japan. You can surf his website at world wide web nolibravo dot com. Eventhough some alumni actually lived in QC, their parents wanted their children to attend the quality education of the premier public high school in Manila, the R.M.H.S. Our community of Roxas District, QC alone had plenty of alumni from the Riparip, Tomas, Derige, Pacquing, Geronimo and Ordinario families. Even Mrs. Corazon Reyes, the assistant principal lives in our community in QC.
Hope to hear from other fellow alumni. More to R.M.H.S.!
P.S. Not allowed to give e-mail addresses the reason why I splled out Noli's web address.
