Roger's Story
Roger attended Geneva High School for four years during the years 1963 - 1966, leaving after completing 10th grade. He then transferred to Dreher High School in Columbia, SC, where he graduated in 1968. Following high school, Roger attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and later the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. He holds a B.S. degree. Much of Roger's post-graduate studies have been related to foreign policy and international relations. Roger has mostly lived in Washington, D.C. and Virginia since 1972, where he has worked for several organizations. He retired to his farm in the Shenandoah Valley in 2013 and splits his time between the Valley and Tidewater areas of Virginia. He remains on contract as a business consultant for his company. Roger's current/future plans are to convert his farm from a cattle operation to vineyards.
