Roger's Story
Life
I married Connie on July 29, 1972, attended BCCJC and completed my Electrical Engineering Degree at the University of Oklahoma in July 1997. On September 5, 1977 Connie gave birth to our first daughter (Rebecca Anne). Rebecca is now married and lives here in Norman with her husband Brent. On April 29, 1980 Connie gave birth to our second daughter (Rachel Elizabeth). Rachel lives her in Norman also. After graduation I worked for the US Air Force at Tinker AFB. While at Tinker I worked as a Lead Project Engineer modifying and upgrading B-52 Bombing & Navigation Systems as well as Precision Guided Munitions. he Israeli Defense Industry and traveled to Israel several times. I left Tinker in December 1991 to work for the National Weather Service here in Norman. I presently work as a Project Engineer upgrading the NEXRAD (WSR-88D) Weather Radar. My home office (and my boss) are in Silver Spring, MD. I spend my spare time with Connie and my children, as well as our 2 Golden Retrievers Madaline Lee and Jackson Lee. Connie and the girls are still playing softball but I had to hang up my bat & glove 2 seasons ago. Connie and I teach Sunday School. I really enjoy seeing our 4th graders faces when they understand something from scripture.
God Bless
Roger
