Paul's Story

As you can see from my photo I’ve changed a little since school. I caught a growth spurt and I’m a hair shy of 6 foot and weigh about 200 plus pounds. I moved to Islamorada, in the Florida keys in 1974 and to Naples, Fla. in 1976 where I live today. I became a boat captain and after 20 years got my master captain license allowing me to run any size ship anywhere in the world. I ran fishing boats, yachts, freighters and tugs and bought a small marina in Naples and started my own fishing company. I built a second marina for the county and operated it for ten years. They built a Ritz Carlton on the beach across the street from my marina in 1984 and I started a company to handle corporate retreats for the hotel and two other hotels. We handled the top Fortune 500 companies providing all water activities, fishing charters, sailing regattas, yacht charters, transportation, corporate events, beach parties and Everglades airboat trips. My wife Monica and I started traveling to foreign countries in 1978 with a trip to Costa Rica and got the travel bug. I captained many ships to foreign countries including an ice breaker to Antartica and a yacht thru New Guinea. Monica and I have visited all seven continents and over forty countries. I have been restoring and building hot rods, antique sport cars and Harley Davidsons for ove...Expand for more
r thirty five years and have a nice collection. I have two adopted children and three grandchildren who now travel with us. I’m taking two of them to Panama on a fishing trip in December and Monica and I will stay there for three months. We divide our time between our north Georgia mountain home, Naples and we travel about three months a year out of the country going to a new country or countries each trip. I have only been back to California a few times and haven’t been back in twenty five years. I sold my businesses in 2000 and retired. I create welded metal sculptures, ride my bikes and work and drive my collection of cars while spending time with my grandkids. I just started a new product that will be on the market this November, it’s a gun for people who get pissed off at things they see or hear on television. It’s called the HADANUFF2000 and you can shoot the tv and it will explode for four seconds then go back to regular programming. If your really pissed off you can push a switch on the gun and when you pull the trigger a nuclear explosian will appear on your set. We have a temporary website at Hadanuff2000.com that explains the product and why I invented it. I do have an anger issue when it comes to tv. Please check it out. I hope all of you stay healthy and have a wonderful life, for the most part I have.
