Roger's Story

Life Well hello there ! Its been a long time, how the years have gone by!! I have pretty much stayed in Bremerton since High School. I worked my way thru college(at Shakeys Pizza and construction work) and got a 2 year degree. Following, I worked several jobs, and following was an auto mechanic at Sears and West Hills Honda before going to work with Shop 71 at the Shipyard(As a WG-5 Helper). Currently I am a Plannerman assigned to support Shop 71. When not at work, I am actively involved in vintage Trans-Am racing, home construction and automobile restorations. In fact, one of my 68 Mustang restorations was a feature car in the February 2002 issue of Mustang Monthly. Another high point recently was getting to meet Parnelli Jones, George Follmer and Phil Hill of racing...Expand for more
fame, what a thrill that was!! I must tell you though, that I have had many paranormal encounters, some of which are documented in a book by a well known paranormal author. In fact, its the reason I missed the 25th reunion! Sadly though, I never found the right person to marry and am still single but looking for that special person. I suppose this is one of my greatest regrets, in that I was really shy in High School and didnt really date at all. I am sure glad that is in the past! ha ha. Shy no more!! Recently, I was very fortunate to meet Tracy Burns(Storey) at a Supervisors training class for the Shipyard, what a blessing that was!! she is a very kind and wonderful person!! At any rate, let me know how you are doing and how life has been treating you. All the best roger
