Roger's Story
Military
I enlisted in the Marines in 1966. After Boot Camp at San Diego and ITR at Camp Pendleton I attended Basic Supply School at Camp Lejuene. I was assigned to MACS-2 at Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. In Sept. '68 I went to HqBn, MCDEC, Quantico, Va. In '70 I went to WestPac. In '71 I returned to Quantico and was assinged to MATCU-68 and then later to HMM-263. memeber of the Quantico Base Shooting Team. I was discharged in Nov. of 1976. After discharge I retuned to Phoenix. I worked in construction building houses and apartments. In April of 1980 I moved to Castle Rock, Colo. In August of '85 I moved back to Phoenix. In Dec of '86 I went to work with America West Airlines and with US Airways. I retired in Dec '13 and lived in N Phx. until July of 21, now living in S.W. Rochester.
