Life
Turned fifty-one in Dec.2001 and not feeling it yet!California is surely good for me. Currently under doctors care (medical doctor) had a fall in June of '99 and legs are still under repair. Awaiting to hear from you all. This is an update on the repair work needed on the legs. Still in Limbo even though I personally don't believe in Limbo. Too much waiting to see if modern science can catch up with my dis-ease. I guess something has to kill you! LOL! Not looking to check out yet at least for another four score and seven. Then I'll be kicking and fighting. Blessings for you All!

As you can see I haven't been real good on keeping up with this life's recordings ... let's do a little catching up here... !
So, New Year's of 2002 was the last time I interjected anything into these pages.
My life in the church has gone from Head of the Deacons to a pew sitter lately. I have made some huge changes for me of late.
I bought property in Oklahoma and have moved there since May of 2006. I now reside in Choctaw Oklahoma which is 16 miles East from OK City and 6 miles from any and every same looking town in the USA. It has all the regular things like KFC and Denny's, Target and Lowe's from schools to modern churches. It's just like living in So Cal except not so many millions of spectators crowding the freeways and parking lots. It is a refreshing change not to have to pay a mortgage or rent. I have been blessed to have been able to cash all that out and now just pay the utilities and credit card bills. It is a very nice feeling to not have the rat race in my back yard any more.
I have a five year plan for some other property I purchased there and I'll be hopefully building seven homes on the 2 acre lots I was able to buy last year out there. So, keep me in your prayers for this to keep some cash flow coming in!
Other than getting settled out there I have been fishing the local lakes for seasonal fish and enjoying that greatly. I have a small 14 foot boat and motor and I love to be on the water all the time. Although chores around the CASA do have to be attended too.
I'm still on the motorcycle for short trips but there will be a long haul trip in July this year ... I'll be in Telleico Plains, Tn then and in Sept I'll be going to Maine and then back to SP, NJ to see my mom for her B day on the 6th, she'll be 82 this year if I remember correctly.
I have been to SP many times and seen many of the locals that stayed there and kept SP their homes since forever. Some have even moved back! Well, if you want all the in between stuff that I've done and been thru and we'll chat. 2008 March
I just returned from a rather long trip to California.
Wasn't going to be a long one but things happen an I came down with a terrific case of the Flu.
My niece had it and surely gave it her Uncle(me).
I was to be gone for a turn around trip of 10 days and it ended up a 10 week return. My next vacation will be only three days ... or three weeks which ever come first. I'm back in Oklahoma and it's still some what winter. I though that I'd stayed away long enough so Spring would be back but it really is trying to freeze up again. Well, fishing season is right around the corner.
I sold off the Mobil home I fixed up last October and it was an OK sale for the money. I have to now get the property on across town and do some dirt work so I can move over there. This all takes time and money of which there in limited supply. I know that God will work it all out in His timing.
Well hope to see some of you around this year.

Time marches on and I'm just getting to the best part of my life. September 24,2009.
Write here seem to be a good way to let you all know whats going on in my life. I've taken a JOB can you believe it? Administrator to a Moose Lodge. It's not a difficult position just sitting at a desk for the most part and doing homework (IE office work) it seems like school work...lol!
Having a good time here and hours are ok. I do belong to this Lodge and it is a nice place to come and relax and visit with your newer friends.
You all are such older friends and most of you don't really know me except for High School days.
I guess that's the good part ...lol.
I have been fishing this summer some and it was a good season for that I didn't get to go see my mother for her Birthday this year just the earlier part of this month on the labor day th. I have to get to the west coast (so cal)for a good friends wedding in November just don't know the date yet? But it should be a good time and a needed vacation.
I have to get to administrators school to really see the do's and the don't's about this job but that to will come in time.
Church is stilla huge part of my life and I have been attending one called Harmony Christian Church in Choctaw OK for many years. Good People and great worship. I do sing on one of their worship teams and occasionally I sit in for the bass player. I love to play the bass, it was something I took up very late in my life. I'm also in their choir too. I had a solo this past Christmas and it was a blast. If your ever coming down interstate 40 on a Sunday outside of OKC it's about 16 mile from downtown heading east on Choctaw Rd exit 166 head north only a half mile and at around 9:30 am I'll be there. Stop by and say Hi. They are a friendly bunch.
