Since 2013 Linda and I have been members of the Civil Air Patrol, the civilian auxiliary to the USAF. Linda's job recently changed from Mission Support Group Commander to the Chief of Staff. Her duties include coordinating the wing staff functions support of the squadrons and meet national reporting requirements. I have remained in the Glendale squadron and work as the squadron director of Emergency Services, and Communications officer. I also assist the wing as an instructor for flying training, flying our aircraft (Cessna 172, 182, and 206 - 15 plus one glider) supporting Air Force assigned (and paid for) missions.
