Roger's Story
I am a retired elementary school principal. I have enjoyed 56 years with my beautiful wife Mary Lee.(Wicke)
I was advised from a college professor that Green Bay was a good place to start my teaching career. When I was offered a teaching position there I jumped at the chance. We were married after finishing college in 1957. We have enjoyed our life here in Green Bay. We live on 5 acres of land and raise collies. or 12 working breeds. This has been a lifelong hobby. As we are getting older we have been cutting back on our hobby.
We had three daughters. Rebecca the oldest, lives in Mequon, WI and teaches choral music in the high school. She has a foster daughter named Kim, Kristine, our middle daughter, lives in Pulaski, WI and is a speech pathologist in the Green Bay Public Schools. Kristine has three daughters Liana, Allison and Emily. Melissa, our youngest, lives next door with her son, Eli.
We remember our days at Wausau High with fond memories.
