Romain's Story
After high school I attended SCSC and graduated with an education degree in 1973. Oops I also got married to another WHHS grad that year as well. Unforunately divorced about 2 years later and moved with a friend (male) in June of 1977 to Denver, Colorado. I then married my (more than a)friend, who was actually from Hamden and had a daughter, Victoria (Tori)who is now 23 and living and finishing college at the U of Oregon. I then moved into the insurance field working for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of CO where I stayed for about 12 years working my way to management. her 15 years. Most recently I started my own healthcare consulting company and have realized my dream by moving to live in a small rural town in the beautiful Colorado mountains. I work from home and consult with medical providers throughout the US. No more suits for me, its all email, fax and phone with T shirts and shorts as my current business attire! I am now on my third marriage but no doubt the best, married for 10 years to my best friend and hiking, skiing, camping, traveling partner. He is a professional wildlife and landscape photographer and we spend as much time as we can enjoying the Colorado mountains.
