Roman's Story
Life
Life, there is a broad subject. Im divorced and living in Louisburg,KS. I work for a large oil company in KCMO now. I love this area of Kansas with all the water and trees. Yes, TREES!!!! they do exist outside city limits!!!! and there is little to no wind here!!!! AMAZING !!! i never knew such a place could exist.
I am going back to school again, this time at KU. I have decided to push myself harder and see where it takes me. They (KU) have decided that i could attend.
School
If i could do school again??? Hmmm i would would do several things differently.
College
Well college and i didn't get along at first. I had accually been academically dismissed, yes expelled due to grades. I had no idea you could get that low of a GPA. HA!!! Anyway i pulled my head out got married and had a daughter. That series of events pushed me out of the hole and back to school. ...Expand for more
i earned my Paramedic Cert. and have never looked back. I do love going to school now, go figure. anyway ill update later
Workplace
What better job could there be than to be outdoors, helping people, making a difference, welcoming new life, and truly saving a life? not many ... of course i have to deal with all that comes with that, including watching a life come to an end. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I will always work the streets, well for as long as i can anyway. Paramedicine is a very demanding profession, both mentally and physically.
I still believe that to this day even though i did leave the streets and went to the oil company. Im not sure where this will lead me or if i will allow it to lead me anywhere. I am still in school though mainly online for the time being. Life has a way of finding new and creative ways of kicking you in the balls ... LOL
