ron's Story
I thought this site was to update how things went/are going. After high school I married, divorced, remarried. Did a lot of pool, drag racing, and Tae Kwon Do. While working at Michcon Gas Co as a lab specialist I somehow did well enough in the stock market (over 7 figures in one year) to retire at 48. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. March 1999 we moved to Honolulu. I literally spent virtually every day at Ala Moana beach swimming and lying in the sun meeting tourists. July 2002 my appendix burst. Didn't go to E.R. until 3 days later. Didn't find out until 3 months later that most die within 24 hrs w/o medical help after an appendix burst. They didn't expect me to live and that I had surprised everyone when I safely recovered. Who knew! Day after Christmas 2012 I had a massive heart attack and became a me...Expand for more
mber of the club where you die and they bring you back to life. Not worth the admission price. I had felt great and an hour later- gone. Makes you realize how quick it ends. Oh well, feel great now. That was twice I escaped the final ending, but fear not, you know what they say; "the third times a charm". In Sept 2015 we moved back to the mainland because my wife Deanna wanted to be nearer her parents as they were aging (80's). Can't help but wonder how everyone else endured 'adulthood".
EDIT: Feb 2024, Just wanted to add: I'm often asked what I experienced during the time between after I died and before they brought me back. I always tell them, "All I can remember is that it was sooo hot and there were flames everywhere". You'd be surprised how often they don't even question it and take me seriously.
