Ron's Story
Well, it's been a few years since HS and seems like a 100 years ago. Especially after looking at the HS year book. I see the faces and know everyone has changed. I hardly recognized myself! Boy does life happen.
After HS I was shortly drafted and put in an Army electronic school for a year. When discharged I went back to Cal Poly and graduated in Chemistry. Ironically Chemistry was the only class I failed in HS....Ha Ha.
After graduating Cal Poly I was employed by an Aero Space firm in Redondo Beach spending 30 years as a Systems Engineer. I traveled several years in the US and Europe visiting vendors as well as w...Expand for more
orking in LA and Cape Canaveral. So.... the travel bug that strikes most retirees I experienced early in life. I currently loathe travel, especially today.
I'm married to a wonderful retired Chiropractor who keeps me in perfect "alignment", not " in line" as she puts it. We have 7 kids, 9 G kids, and 4 GG kids . Oh yea, one more GG kid on the way.
Currently I'm finishing a classic car restoration and have a car instrument repair business. When not working I'm sailing, flying radio control planes, building computers, and shooting.
Hope all is well with everyone and plan on making the 55 class reunion. See you there.
