Ron's Story
Hi "old" classmates and friends...Fortunate to see some of you from time to time when visiting Downingtown. Brief history on Ron. Graduated Univ.of Denver in 67, after several knock around years in retail, joined Gillette and enjoyed a great 27 year career. Lived many places and saw the world . Sherry and I were married in 1966 and enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage. We have two adult children and four beautiful grandchildren. Sherry died of a brain tumor after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle. We had retired to Chapel Hill NC and I had the honor to be her caregiver during her illness. Through my work with...Expand for more
the Brain Tumor Center at Duke, I met Holly who had also lost her husband of 28 years to a brain tumor. We now work together on the Brain Tumor Center Board and on the committee of Angels Among Us an annual April event which raises nearly 2 million dollars annually which goes entirely to research.
Holly and I married in 2006 and we have twin 27 year old daughters, working in DC & Boston
