Ron's Story
Well let's see...
I grew up in Farmingdale, NY, but moved away in 1972 (after finishing 10th Grade) to Pine Bush NY. I graduated from Pine Bush High and immediately joined the Navy, starting June 1974.
My navy service ultimately included sea tours on USS Scamp (SSN-588), USS Dolphin (AGSS-555), USS Dixon (AS-37), and USS Port Royal (CG-73).
For those folks keeping track, that does in fact make me both a Bubblehead and a Skimmer.
I also served a tour with Submarine Training Facility, Sub Base San Diego, and AFSOUTH, Naples, Italy (NATO).
I married (for the first time) in 1989.

finished 22 years navy service and retired April 1996, settling down with my first wife in Gautier, Mississippi. I worked several jobs there on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, got divorced and remarried. A year after Hurricane Katrina flooded us out my wife and I decided to move away. We ended up resettling in northern Virginia, just south of Washington, D.C.
I enjoy photography, boating, being outside, playing on the computer, and generally trying to enjoy my non-workday life.
I'd really like to reconnect with old friends and classmates, particularly classmates back from Farmingdale.
