Ron's Story
I spent 4 years in the US Navy. (1960-1964) I joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1964 where I spent the next 32 years. I went to school throughout my career and received an AA, BS and MPA. I retired a Lt II and was the Commanding Officer of Hollywood Detectives. I then went back to the City as a Civilian employee and retired from there 4/10/2010. I was a Management Analyst. peeches for various clubs and civic groups. I belong to several organizations but my focus is on the District 53 Professional Speakers Bureau. I have four grown children, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Three grandchildren are college graduates with a fourth about to graduate. My oldest son has 25 years with the LAPD. My daughter is a school teacher and my youngest son is a truck driver.
I have been remarried for 14 years to Stephanie, A Crime Intelligence Analyst with the Police Department. She has two children and two grandchildren.
