Life 1976: Don't know how, but with the administration's mercy, graduated Hamburg High 1976-88: performed as a percussionist in US Army bands while stationed in Texas, Germany (oh, yeah), and New Jersey, Private through Sergeant First Class. 1988: Decided to put one stick down, and apply for a United States Warrant as an army bandmaster/conductor/commander 1989-2004: earned my Warrant, and commanded Army Bands in Louisiana, Texas, and Germany, with wartime deployments to Bosnia, Macedonia and Iraq. Yeehaw. I was with the 4th Infantry Division in Tikrit, Iraq, when the 4ID caught Saddam. I have a little piece of his palace in my den that will forever remind me of the nightly bombings, shooting, rocket-propelled grenade and small arms attacks, and the daily chaos of that wonderful experience. 2004: My fun-meter pegged in Iraq and I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4, with a memories of some truly spectacular times and duty in every country in subcontinental Europe. 7 great years in Europe.., it's THE place to be. Currently: Working & living in the City of Temple, TX, and manage the City's Fitness Center.
