Ron's Story

Hello All, For those who do not remember me, ( I figure that to be about 99.9% of you) I thought I would add a few lines to let the .1% know what I have been up to. After Graduation I went to B.C. for a while, but that got boring real quick. I took a position in management for Thrifty Drug Stores. That position took me to Tulare, and Visalia for a few years. I was offered a position with a local Tile co. which I took. I was an installer for a few years, then tested for and received my Contractors license. I contracted for quite a few years here in Calif. and also spent a number of years in Northeast Ohio working in the tile trade there. While there I tore my knee apart (ouch!) which needless to say ended my installation business. I came back to Calif in 1997 and began selling tile. In 2004 I partnered with another tile guy, and opened a Tile and Flooring store in Morro Bay. In Jan. this year I sold out to my partner and returned back to Bak. eal her name to protect the innocent. After that nightmare I met Pam, My true soulmate. She and I will celebrate our 26th on July 31. We combinded our kids when they were all very young. (My ex disappeared when my girls were 6 weeks and 14 months) Pam has been the only Mother they have ever known, and what a mother she has been! We raised five kids, and we still have our sanity! Pam is a Public Health Nurse with the Co. of Kern. She will begin Her Masters program in August, and will receive her degree in Pastoral Care from Holy Names University. She will be able to be an admin. in a Church, Hospital, or School. We are really excited and proud of her. The kids are now all grown, Sonnett is 32, Josh is 31, David is 29, and Karly is 23. I Know what you are thinking, that is only four. Our middle daughter Amanda passed away in 1997, with her son Ronnie. She would be 31 this year. We have 7 full Grandkids, 5 boys, 2 girls. Plus 5 married in Grandkids 4 boys, 1 girl. Not a very exciting story, but I have to say, Ive had a great ride so far, and look forward to what tomorrow has to offer.
