Where do I start?
hmmm...definitely in Roseland...
Holy Rosary (Irish), Mendel and Fenger
were local schools I attended.
I'm a 'Nam vet(69-72),
former electrician of 13 yrs,
honors grad from CLC in '86...
currently an application developer since '86.
I dated a wonderful lady (Barb) for 3 yrs before getting married in Sept. of '77. We have a daughter Ashley with a BA in nursing from IUN. Roseland changed while I was overseas... everyone moved away... it's always a pleasant joy to run into someone from back then... it doesn't happen often enough.
Taking a moment to recall Roseland back "in the day"... Palmer Park pool and ice skating, Gately's People Store, That huge snow storm, Friends from school, the park, and the "ave" (Michigan Ave)...awesome teachers each school had...especially the School Sisters of Notre Dame...all wonderful memories.
